How HomeIsSecure works
Five steps from sign-up to a route your crew can run, plus the ground rules we hold ourselves and our members to.

- 1
Step 1 of 5
Join HomeIsSecure
Pick the monthly plan that fits your business from the pricing page and create your account. If you are unsure which features a plan includes, such as SMS, email help@homeissecure.com before you sign up and our team will walk you through it.
- 2
Step 2 of 5
Define your service area
Draw the area you actually cover on the map, from a cluster of neighborhoods to several counties. Keeping searches inside your real territory keeps lists focused, routes practical and your crews away from jobs they would rather not drive to.
- 3
Step 3 of 5
Build and stack lists
Filter homes by criteria like year built, recent sale, owner-occupancy, property type and lot size, where county records include them. Stack lists to find properties that meet several criteria, look up individual owners and save the lists you plan to work this season.
- 4
Step 4 of 5
Reach out responsibly
Work your lists with direct mail, phone calls and, where your plan includes it, SMS, using skip-traced contact details where available. Follow consent, do-not-call and telemarketing rules, along with local solicitation and permit rules, and never pressure homeowners, especially after a storm.
- 5
Step 5 of 5
Automate and track
Turn on automated list updates so new sales and changed records flow into your saved lists. Export lists to your CRM to keep marketing, scheduling and job history in order, then review each season what worked and adjust your filters.
What we stand by
Plain commitments about records, consent and the limits of what data can tell you.
Records vary by county
Property details come from public and county records, and each county decides what it records and releases. Some fields will be missing or dated in places, and we tell you so instead of filling gaps with guesses.
Consent comes first
A phone number or mailing address on a list is not an invitation to use it however you like. Members are expected to follow consent, do-not-call and telemarketing rules, along with local solicitation and permit rules.
You stay in control
HomeIsSecure supplies data and tools, not jobs. You pick the service area, the search criteria, the wording and when anything goes out, and you remain responsible for making sure your outreach meets consent, do-not-call and telemarketing rules in your area.
Where our job starts and stops

Our job
- A homeowner and property data membership
- Service-area maps, list building and routes
- Outreach tools for mail, calls and texts, used within the rules
- Free home maintenance guides for homeowners
Not part of the job
- A contractor, installer or repair service
- A dispatcher or scheduling service for your jobs
- A home warranty company or insurer
- A guarantee of jobs, leads or results
Members are responsible for following consent, do-not-call and telemarketing laws, along with local solicitation and permit rules, when they contact homeowners. After a storm, give people room: no pressure, no scare tactics.
